Burj Bank to establish 50 new branches countrywide.
KARACHI:Â Ahmed Khizar Khan, CEO and President of Burj Bank Limited (BBL) explicitly stated that BBL would initiate a plan to establish 50 new branches within the country. This was stated by him when he was present with Chief Minister Sindh Mr Qaim Ali Shah at the Chief Minister House.
BBL, formerly known as Dawood Islamic Bank Limited, will start its first phase of re-organization by establishing 50 branches within the country. This step would be further continued by establishing more branches within the country.
Mr. Khizar further stated that BBL was following the trend set up by the International Development Bank, whose priority is to work for the up gradation of Islamic countries.
Mr Qaim Ali Shah lauded the decision of BBL and anticipated that the economic and welfare of the country would improve because of this transition. Mr. Shah was also keen enough to provide every bit of support for this cause
