Balochistan: CJ orders arrest of ministers allegedly involved in kidnappings

The Chief Justice of Pakistan has directed authorities to register FIRs against the three accused ministers in Balochistan missing persons case, on Thursday.

The bench hearing this case was headed by the CJ along with Justice Tariq Pervaiz and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain.

A written statement by the Provincial Interior Minister of Baluchistan Mir Zafarullah Zehri named three ministers, was presented in the court today.

The statement holds information about those three ministers being allegedly involved in kidnapping of people for ransom.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry ordered an FIR to be lodged against the accused minister's and demanded police to collect evidence in that regard. "Arrest all ministers involved in kidnapping for ransom by evening and everything will be fine" he added.

The Supreme Court also directed  Balochistan’s Chief Secretary Ahmed Buksh Lehri to contact the families of the victims and provide them with some kind of monetary compensation.
