Atleast 16 people were injured when a remote-controlled bomb blast hit a passenger bus in Parchar Khel area of Kurram Agency, on Friday.

According to the report, the incident took place at about 10: 40 a.m. local time when a passenger van was hit by a roadside- planted remote control bomb while on its way from Parachinar, capital city of Kurram Agency, to Peshawar.

The injured were shifted to the nearby hospital.
