Ishaq Dar to be appointed as opposition leader
The opposition parties on Wednesday approved to elect Pakistan Muslim League(N)'s Ishaq Dar as the leader of opposition in Senate.
All opposition parties reached a consensus and appointed Ishaq Dar as the opposition leader, sources said.
A notification will be released soon making the election of Ishaq Dar as opposition leader, official.
Letters were written to Senate chairman Nayyar Bokhari by 24 senators of the opposition parties, in support of PMLN's Ishaq Dar in the upper house.
The senators who wrote the letters supporting Dar are Zulfiqar Khosa, Nisar Muhammad, Zafarullah Khan, Raja Zafar ul Haq, Mushahidullah, Najma Hamid, Nuzhat Sadiq, Hamza, Kamran Michael, Mohsin Leghari, Pervaiz Rashid, Sajid Mir, Zafar Ali Shah,  Mir Hasil Bazenjo and Humayun Mandhokhel.
