The Minister for Foreign affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar, in a statement said, funding the gas pipeline project between Pakistan and Iran is not an issue, as many financial sources are ready and willing to support the project.

While speaking at a joint press conference with the Swedish Foreign Minister, Carl Bildt at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad, she hinted that Pakistan and Iran are sure to embark on this project which will prove beneficial to both the countries.

Apart from that Khar expressed that she condemned the recent massacre of Afghan civilians at the hands of US soldiers. While Carl Bildt extended his condolences over the incident.
