Speculations were, that Pakistan is near to host it's first International match in three years after the Bangladeshi board officials visited Pakistan to experience the security measures and approving it and ICC giving a special permission to conduct the match under "exceptional circumstances".

Pakistan's hopes were crushed when the BCB Chairman Mustafa Kamal recently said that a tour was out of the question if the ICC did not provide its officials.

Speaking to the media in Dhaka, he said, "We won't go if everything doesn't happen within the standard practice, which is the allocation of match-referees, umpires and all things by the ICC."

" If they don't take responsibility, then on what basis can I send my players.", he added.

Last week, a  delegation of Bangladeshi cricket officials visited Pakistan this week to review the security planand official matter regarding their team's tour to Pakistan. They looked satisfied with the security plan and the BCB chairman seemed optimistic about the tour.

Kamal expressed his wishes to see International cricket return to Pakistan.

Pakistan is still using other countries as host for their International matches, after international cricket was discontinued in Pakistan, in the wake of the attack on Sri Lankan team in Lahore three years ago.
