Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and sent Pakistan in to bat first in the opening match of the Asia Cup limited-overs tournament Sunday at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

The Asia Cup also involves India and Sri Lanka.

India has won the Asia Cup five times while Sri Lanka won it four times.
Pakistan has won it once.
