Australia beat Sri Lanka, win Tri-nation series
Australia win the third final against Srilanaka by 16 runs and won tri-nation series at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday.
Srilankan team made 215 in 49 overs.
Upul Tharanga topscored for Sri Lanka with 71 off 122 balls, but once he was caught behind off Shane Watson, Sri Lanka dropped behind the required run-rate and needed 22 for victory off the last two overs.
Wicketkeeper Matthew Wade topscored with 49 off 74 balls in Australia's innings, with fellow opening batsman David Warner hitting 48 off 45.
On the opening of the match Australia chose to bat first and were all out for 231 off 49.3 overs in the third and final tri-series one-day international.
Opening batsman Matthew Wade topscored with 49, while Farveez Maharoof took three for 40 and Rangana Herath claimed three for 36.
