Armed men shot down a young boy after a firing incident occurred in Sorabh Goth earlier today, local media reported.

The departed who was known as Khairuddin was said to be affiliated with a political party.

Angry residents turned protesters torched two vehicles and burnt tyres on the road which blocked the incoming traffic towards the Highway.

Police and Rangers have been deployment heavily to control the situation, trying to low-down the situation police fired shots which in result injured one protester.

The body of the deceased has been moved to Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Hospital.
