According to a local newspaper agency, the Crime Investigation Department (CID) Karachi, has captured five suspects who are said to be involved in sectarian violence in Karachi.

Speculations are that CID  conducted an operation in Korangi town area and detained five suspects named Niazullah, Ibrahim, Shakeel Malik alias Mohammad Ali, Hazrat Anees alias Jawwad and Abdul Jalil Anwar.

The alleged target killer are affiliated with the Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) group and have confessed to more than 8 incidents of target killing in Karachi. Two hand grenades, two Kalashnikovs and three pistols were also recovered from the suspects.
