Memogate: Hussain Haqqani’s counsel unable to get UK visa
Husain Haqqani's counsel, Zahid Bukhari said he has not been able to acquire visa for London and now he cannot attend the memo proceedings there, a local news channel reported Today.
"Now I will be unable to attend the recording of Mansoor Ijaz's testimony at the London High Commission on February 22" Bukhari said.
Raja Jawad Abbas, secretary of the judicial commission, has reached London to collect evidence from Mansoor Ijaz. He will collect Blackberry data and other evidence from Mansoor Ijaz, the central figure in the case.
He will remain in London till February 24.
During his visit, Raja Jawad will gather details and check the authenticity of the evidence provided by Ijaz.
Abbas would collect electronic devices and other evidences from Ijaz and also review the arrangements for his video conference.
The next meeting of memogate commission is scheduled on February 22, wherein the commission will record Ijaz's testimony via video conference.
