Punjab Assembly today, has made a unanimous resolution to create and deploy a Drug Regulatory Authority (DRA). A local news channel reported.

This decision came in light of the recent deaths in Punjab especially in Lahore due to a drug reaction caused by cheap and second-rate drugs.

These life saving drugs were purchased cheaply and provided to the victims by the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC).
