Young Doctors of the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) continue with their strike against the booting of their Chief Executive, Medical Superintendent and Deputy Medical Superintendent. A local news channel reported

After going on strike operations throughout the hospital have been affected. The young doctors refuse to resume duty until their seniors aren't reinstated.

They are of the view that the protest will continue till the doctors fired in drug reactions case are restored.

The Punjab assembly views this as a violation of direct orders of the Supreme Court.
