The youngsters on Tuesday celebrated the Valentine Day with musical evenings and other entertainment programmes in the Federal Capital.

Major event of the day was `Sama-e-Ishq', a live musical evening with famous singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan organized at a local hotel.

Various restaurants and hotels organized live musical evenings with special Valentine parties in which people participated with red outfits.

Nomad Art Gallery launched a book of romantic poetry with illustrations by eminent artist Ahmed Habib "Teray Shehr-e-Dil Se Uth Aye".

Flower sellers and gift shops remained busy throughout the day with high sale of red roses, heart-shape balloons and other gift items.

Youngsters and student groups also arranged Valentine parties at their homes and open places.
