Government have decided to appeal regarding the contempt of court case against Prime Minster Yousaf Raza Gilani, sources said.

Barrister Atizaz Ahsan would file an appeal on Saturday or Monday, sources added.

Earlier, The Counsel for Prime minster, The Counsel for PM Gilani Barrister Atizaz Ahsan said that, Prime Minister Gilani had the right to file an appeal against the verdict and that he would advise the Prime Minister over it.

On Thursday, Supreme Court ordered Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to appear in court on February 13 with contempt for failing to reopen corruption cases against the president.
