Six militants were killed when security forces attacked militants hideout in the upper Orakzai, local security officials said.

According to sources, security forces pounded militants’ hideouts in Upper Orakzai that destroyed 2 compounds and killed six militants.

Sources of security forces told that one soldier was martyred and four others sustained injuries in Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency when militants attacked a security check post in Dolat Khel.

Earlier, militants killed six soldiers on January 25 in the district of Kurram, part of tribal belt along the Afghan border.
