An accountability court on Thursday sentenced former media coordinator for the Prime Minister, Khurram Rassol, to three years in prison in the bank fraud case.

Khurram Rasool was sentenced for continually not appearing before the court.

Earlier, a banking court Lahore had granted him interim bail in LPG fraud case and directed the Federal Investigation Agency to not arrest Rasool till February 2.
