Meteorological department on Wednesday predicted mostly dry weather with dense fog in plain areas during next 24 hours.

Director MET office Muhammad Hanif said that weather is expected to be  dry in most parts of the country during next 24 hours and dense fog will prevail.

Talking to PTV, Dr Hanif said that Islamabad, Balochistan and most parts of KPK will receive light rain after three days.

He said that recent spell of snow fall has ended and in the plain areas weather is already pleasant.

Temperature in Murree has been recorded at -5 and this hilly region including Galiat will receive heavy snow fall in coming three days,he added.

He said that spell of dense fog in Islamabad and southern areas of Punjab will continue to persist during next week as well.

Last spell of rains in KPK, Punjab and upper areas of Balochistan has been very useful for the wheat crop, he added.
