NA passes pro-democracy resolution
The National Assembly (NA) of Pakistan on Monday passed resolution in favor of democracy with majority.
Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People Party –Sherpao (PPP-S) walked out against the resolution.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani congratulated to all political parties for supporting democracy.
He said that the PPP always respected judiciary and he will appear before court on January 19.
He further said that he did not need to take vote of confidence and 'if someone doesn't like our face, they should move a no-confidence motion'.
