PML-N discusses post NRO situation in party meeting
The Pakistan Muslim LeagueNawaz has convened a meeting of its senior leaders in Raiwind on Wednesday (today) to discuss the political scenario emerging after the Supreme Court`s NRO verdict.
Sources say these leaders may convince PML-N president Nawaz Sharif, who will be presiding over the consultative meeting, to use all resources available with the party for making the government implement the apex court orders with emphasis on the sixth `option` in the SC verdict.
The party will decide its strategy after NRO verdict of Supreme court and might hold a long march, sources said.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) also asked government to approach Swiss courts if it does not have confidence in the judiciary of the country.
Commenting on the Supreme Court order on NRO implementation case, PML-N deputy secretary-general Ahsan Iqbal said that the government's representatives instead of implementing the apex court verdict on NRO has started playing with people and the judiciary.
He termed NRO as 'black law', saying it doesn't have any example in the country's history.
