A blast killed a man and wounded 22 others in a building on the University Road in Peshawar on Tuesday.

According to the police, around 20 shops were also partially damaged in the explosion in the Azam Tower. The Internet cafeteria in the basement of the tower caught fire after the explosion.

The injured were shifted to Khyber Teaching Hospital.

The information Minister KP, Mian Ifthikhar Hussain said that, the police detained leader of terrorists two days ago so the blast could be the reaction of militants.
