The critically injured person in Karachi blast lost his life on Saturday.

Earlier, the person Mirza Muhammad Manaf was shifted to Darul sehat hospirtal in critical condition.

The person was severe and shifted immediately to near by hospital after the blast.

The blast occurred near a gate of Karachi University at about 11 am. Witnesses told that a man riding a motorcycle was seriously injured in the blast.

The injured man subsequently died in hospital.

The blast, which was heard from several kilometres away, damaged several buildings and vehicles. Security forces cordoned off the area after the blast and shops were shut down.
