In another incident Robbers looted Rs4 million from a private bank in Karachi here on Thursday.

This is the second dacoity within 24 hours in which 8.4 million has looted from the banks.

As per details, about eight armed dacoit’s entered into a bank located at Garden area of the city under the jurisdiction of  Soljar Bazar and made the bank staff hostage. The bank officials said that the dacoits have looted about Rs4 million and took away the CCTV footage with them.

Later the Senior Superintendent Police Raja Umer khatab told media that eight dacoits entered into the bank and snatched the arms from bank security guard and made the staff hostage. He said that the dacoits fled away safely in a car and took away CCTV footage and arms of security guard with them.

“We have started the investigation and soon we will be able to arrest the culprits,” SSP added.

This was the 25th dacoity during the year.
