Mohmand schools reopen after 3 years
Schools reopened in Safi tehsil of the Mohmand agency tribal region on Friday after remaining closed for three years.
Total 103 schools are working in Safi Tehsil including 68 for boys and 35 are meant for girls, and 7000 students are enroled in those schools.
During the operation in the area  around 40 schools has been destroyed by the militants. however political administration has built up the replacement of those schools.
Mohmand’s Education Officer Saad Mohammad said that the administration had been issued orders to reopen the schools and teachers were directed to attend schools from Friday.
Militancy and law and order situation had forced the local administration to close the schools in Safi and other areas of the tribal region.
