There is no let up in dengue epidemic, as another six people lost their lives due to dengue fever during the last 24 hours raising the death toll to 247 in Punjab.

Out of the three cases reported, three are from Service hospital including Muhammad Shafiq, Nasir and Saba. All three patients are being treated at the same hospital. Two more patients Abdul Ghaffar and Zainab Bibi died of dengue in Ganga Ram hospital.

Another woman Kaneez Fatima died in CMH hospital, Lahore.

Earlier, According to the health department, 267 cases of Dengue virus have been registered during 24 hours in Punjab.

On Thursday, 28 years old Asif, 55 years old Kaneez bibi, 20 years old Nameera, 50 years old Malka, 24 years old Fatima, 20 years old Robina and 70 years old Mohammad Riaz died of dengue fever in different hospitals of Lahore.
