Seven more lose life against dengue
Dengue has not yet shown any decrease in its spread and has claimed Seven more lives in Lahore Monday. The toll now stands at 223 in Punjab.
According to health department, five patients lost their lives in Mayo Hospital today. The number of patients affected from Dengue in Lahore is 13,147 while in Punjab it has reached 15,235.
The health department said that fumigation is being done in 16 council of Lahore while awareness campaigns are also being organized.
Medical experts from Indonesia are training the doctors and paramedical staff regarding the treatment and control of the epidemic.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif chaired the dengue control meeting and ordered for strict action against doctors and paramedical staff who are not taking part in the dengue control campaign.
