The domestic T20 event has shifted to Karachi from Lahore due to the dengue menace across the pujab here Wednesday.

The tournament will be started from September 25 in Karachi.

President Asif Ali Zardari, Tuesday advised PCB to shift Faysal Bank Twenty20 Cricket Tournament from Lahore to Karachi.

According to a news release of the KCCA, President Zardari has hoped that another Twenty20 tournament will be held in Lahore when things settled down. This direction was issued at a meeting of the sport legends and sports organisers with the President which held at Bilawal House.

The meeting was attended by sports legends Javed Miandad, Samiullah, Hasan Sardar, Hanif Khan, Sikandar Bakht, Sadiq Muhammad, Wasim Bari, Saeed Hai, Mohsin Khan, Shahid Khan Afridi and a host of other outstanding sports stars and eminent sports administrators which included Gulfaraz Ahmed Khan of Hockey and S Sirajul Islam Bukhari president KCCA.
