Nawaz urges govt to expedite relief efforts for flood victims
Chief of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the government should expedite relief efforts for flood victims and declare affected areas as calamity-hit in Sindh.
Addressing the media in Hyderabad on Sunday, Nawaz said that he was particularly talking about farmers because they were looking towards the government for help and we have to help them harvest crops in the next season.
The PML-N chief said all stakeholders need to convene a meeting in order to save the country and his party would be a part of that parley.
He said that those who are involved in the Karachi unrest are talking more about the city on media, adding that peace in the metropolis should be restored.
