Big B credits Ajay, Sanju and Salman for high Box-Office grab
Mega star Amitabh Bachchan has credited actors Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt for contributing lavishly to the economics of the film industry.
"The film industry is going through a stupendous phase. Films add more colour and more ecomomics to the condition of the film industry. The industry has been doing a wonderful run so far...thanks to people like Ajay, Sanju and Salman and everyone. All my good wishes to you all and I hope this film creates yet another record," Big B told reporters here last evening after unveiling the trailer of Ajay-Sanjay starrer `Rascals`.
Directed by David Dhawan, `Rascals`, a comedy, stars Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Kangna Ranaut and Lisa Hayden in pivotal roles. The movie trailer will run with Bachchan`s film `Aarakshan`.
"I wish Sanju all the best...he is always like a member of the family and Ajay has treated Abhishek as his younger brother and David is such a close associate with Jaya. This is almost like a family. It is always an honour to be able to associate myself with the people of my own fraternity," Bachchan said.
When asked who is the biggest `Rascal` from the cast of the movie, Big B pointed towards Dutt. Co-produced by Dutt along with Sanjay Ahluwalia and Vinay Choksey, `Rascals` is scheduled to release on October 7.
Recently, the Box-Office figures have been on a high after Ajay`s `Singham`, Salman`s `Ready` and Sanjay`s `Double Dhamaal` got a thumbs up from the audience.
