Many areas of Sindh including Karachi have received rain that has turned the weather pleasant on Wednesday as the monsoon spell has entered the province.

On the other-side, The beginning of monsoon rains in Karachi plunge the city into darkness as the power supply suspended in various areas, irking the citizens.

The areas facing power outage included Al Noor Society, Kharadar, Abul Hassan Isphahani Road, Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, Federal B Area, Landhi, Korangi, Gulshan e Iqbal, Gulistan e Jauhar, Sir Syed Town, Malir Cantt, Gulshan e Maymar, Askari Phase IV, Naval Colony.

KESC Spokesman said that different areas of the metropolis were facing feeder-tripping problems following the monsoon rain. He said that the KESC teams were working on emergency basis to control the situation.
