Hajj scam: SC gives 24 hours to reinstate Sect. establishment
The Supreme Court has provided 24 hours to the government for submitting the prime minister’s reply in Hussain Asghar reinstatement and secretary establishment removal cases.
The apex court gave one more day to the attorney general to inform the court regarding the cases. The CJP remarked that the constitution permits declaring illegal appointments null.
The court was told that IG Gilgit-Baltistan Police, Hussain Asghar went missing while coming from Skardu.
A six-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary, was told by AG Molvi Anwar ul Haq and DG FIA, that Hussain Asghar left Skardu for Islamabad on July 26 but since then, there has not been any contact with him, neither could any telephonic contact could be made.
