Target killings claim 12 more lives in karachi

At least 12 more people were killed on late Wednesday during a second consecutive day of deadly violence in Karachi, bringing the death toll to 37 in three days.

Minister of Interior, Rehman Malik ordered strict action to bring normalcy and peace to Karachi.

In Gulistan-e-Johar, unknown armed men opened fire on a car and killed a man and left 2 injured.

According to the sources, 2 dead bodies were found from Garden. While an unknown man was shot dead in Afridi colony.

A taxi driver was shot dead near Makki Mosque.

The violence which broke out in Orangi Town spread to Lyari, Baldia Town, Site, Garden, Gulistan-e-Johar and Gulshan-i-Iqbal areas.

Unidentified gunmen opened fire in Kati Pahari and Zareena Colony, leaving three dead and six injured.

The people of Karachi are caught by fear due to target killings and they are oppressed to leave their places.
