Police on Friday arrested four activists of banned groups, weapons and ammunition was recovered from their custody.

Addressing news-conference SSP CID Ch. Aslam Khan said that police arrested two activists of a banned group Jind ullah Rizawan Ali and Mohammad Salim in a raid in Marri pur; he added that CID police also arrested the Commander of Tehrek-e-Talban Swat, Nazir Ahmed near Walika Hospital in Site area.

He said that police recovered two suicide jackets, 25 kg explosive material ammunition in the operation.

He said that Liquat abad police arrested an activist of a banned group in another operation in Khamosh colony.
