The Police, with the assistance of Bomb Disposal Squad (DMS), defused 20 kg explosive material found in a residential colony near Jinnah Hospital.

"At least two detonators with remote control mechanism fitted with explosive material were found," a police official told media persons at the site where bomb was defused.

The explosive material was concealed in plastic bags and  placed at the site where Friday prayers are regularly held, he added.
