Supreme Court Lahore registry on Tuesday asked the government to appoint chairman and prosecutor general National Accountability Bureau (NAB) within a month.

Justice Asfi Khosa read out SC verdict in which he directed the government that NAB will practically non-functional and chairman NAB will lose powers if they will not follow Supreme Court orders.

Earlier, Supreme Court bench under Justice Javed Iqbal reserved verdict last month.
