Top US-Pak military officials express satisfaction over revival of intelligence ties

Top military officials from Pakistan and the United States have expressed satisfaction over the resumption of intelligence sharing between both nations' premier intelligence agencies to hunt down 'high-value terror targets'.
United States Central Command (CENTCOM) chief General James Mattis held talks with  Chief of Army staff General Ashfaq kiyani at the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi, and "discussed regional security situation and other matters pertaining to professional interest," the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a brief statement.

The official said that General Mattis and General kiyani reviewed the situation following the last month's visit by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Admiral Mike Mullen.

"They expressed satisfaction over the revival of intelligence cooperation between the two countries," the official added
