At least eight people including four police personnel were killed and 39 others including policeman and civilian were injured in a suicide attack on CID Police Station at Jamrud Road in Peshawar.

The terrorists rammed explosive laden vehicle into the gate of the CID Police station.

250 to 300 kilogram explosive was used in the attack. The explosion was so powerful that rocked all the nearby areas of the Cantonment and City besides totally destroying the two-story building. Several CID police personnel were reportedly trapped under the debris of the building.

The staff of the Rescue recovered 10 police personnel alive from the rubbles.

The injured and bodies were rushed to local hospitals.
