In Indian Occupied Kashmir, the authorities have put veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani under house arrest as he was going to address a pubic gathering at Batmaloo in Srinagar.

A large number of police personnel has been deployed at his Hyderpora resident in Srinagar, KMS reported.

The police personnel laid a siege around the residence of the veteran leader and subjected everybody entering the house to questioning.
