Famous Actor Moin Akhtar on Friday passed away after a heart attack in Karachi. He will be buried in Model Colony graveyard in Malir after Zohar prayers Saturday.

Moin Akhtar, Pride of Performance, Sitara-e- Imtiaz, born 24 December 1950. He started his acting career in 1966 on television.

Moin was a Pakistani television, film and stage actor, as well as a comedian, impersonator, and a host. He was also a play writer, singer, film director and a producer.

President Zardari, Prime Minister Gilani and several television celebrities have expressed grief over his death.

Moin Akhtar left two daughters and three sons.
