Unpredictable Pakistan to face shinning West Indies in QF‎

The unpredictable Pakistan cricket team will face the struggling Caribbean side West Indies in the first quarter final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 on Wednesday at Shere Banlga National Stadium, Mirpur.

Both teams had the pleasant memories in playing at Mirpur as Pakistan defeated Bangladesh in their warm-up match while West Indies demolished the Bangladesh in their Group B when they bundled out the host team for just 58 runs. But West Indies will never forget the treatment they received after demolishing Bangladesh as fans and supporters thrown stones at the bus of the West Indies cricket team when they were on their way to the team hotel after winning the match.

Pakistan will have the sympathy and support of the local fans as they will be facing the team which humiliated the home team at group stage. Pakistan will enter into the match as favourites because of their clinical performance in the last group match against defending champion Australia where they beat them convincingly by four wickets.
