Seven prisoners killed in Hyderabad Jail
At least seven prisoners were killed and over 40 injured in a police operation at Hyderabad central jail here on Tuesday.
The prisoners, who were protesting against the scarcity of water, electricity and gas on the top of barracks of central jail, were asked by Jail management to call off their protest.
How ever they refused to do so, while force the management to apply hardcore action against them. Resultantly, seven prisoners were killed and over three dozen were injured.
Police claimed that the prisoners also pelted stones on the law enforces, which resulted the injuries of seven policemen including a SHO.
They also claimed to have recovered six pistols, two guns, six hundred cell phones and wine furnaces from them during the operation.
