2 service members killed in Afghanistan: NATO
NATO says two of its service members have been killed in bomb blasts in Afghanistan.
The international military coalition says both died before dawn on Monday — one in the east and one in the south. It did not provide the victims' nationalities or any other details.
NATO typically waits for the relevant national authorities to confirm deaths of service members.
The latest deaths make a total of 32 NATO service members killed this month, after 31 were killed in January.
Last year was the deadliest year of the nine-year Afghan war for the international forces, with 701 killed.
