Muhammad Irshad Khan of Pakistan Muslim League-Q defeated his rivals and clinched provincial assembly seat of PK-87 Shangla in the bye-polls held here on Saturday.

Unofficial vote count at all 102 polling stations set up in the constituency shows Isrhad Khan in a lead with 18342 votes against his rival Muhammad Yar of Awami National Party who stood second.
