US official sent on 6-day remand
US consulate worker Raymond Davis has produced in a court on Friday on double murder charges.
The Court sent Raymond Davis on six-day remand. Davis shot dead two men on a motorcycle. A third was crushed to death by a US consulate car that had followed to aid the official following the shooting in Lahore.
Raymond Davis identified as a technical adviser with the consulate.
Davis told police that he shot the pillion riders in self-defence after they pulled a pistol on him in an attempted robbery, police said.
Another murder case had been registered against unknown foreigners in the second vehicle over the killing of the third man.
