The Balochistan High Court (BHC) on Monday granted bail to Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) provincial president Shahzain Bugti and his aides.

A single bench of BHC comprising Justice Noor Miskanza had reserved on Thursday its judgment on the bail application.

Justice Noor Miskanzai approved the bail application and ordered for the release of Shahzain Bugti and 26 others.

The BHC has ordered to release of each on Rs five lac bail amount.

Shahzain Bugti was arrested with his 26 aides on charges of recovery of heavy weapons on December 22 by the personnel of Frontier Corps near Quetta.
