The inaugural meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan has approved rules and regulation related to the appointment of judges on Saturday.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry chaired the meeting.

The meeting approved rule and regulations of the Commission and appointed Registrar Supreme Court Fakir Hussain as secretary of the commission.

Members of provincial judicial commissions were also attend the meeting.
