2 NATO service members killed in Afghanistan
NATO says two of its service members have been killed in southern Afghanistan.
Friday's statements say one service member was killed by a bomb and the other by an insurgent attack. NATO gave no further details or nationalities.
The deaths bring the total number of NATO fatalities in Afghanistan this year to 614.
NATO and Afghan troops have been trying to push Taliban fighters from their strongholds in southern Afghanistan since July but bombings and attacks remain a daily occurrence.
