The United States and Pakistan would start strategic dialogue from today in Washington.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani will also attend the dialogue.

The dialogue is going to be started from today continue till Oct 22 in which issues related to power, agriculture, education and security would be discussed.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the relationship also suffered "two steps back" with the helicopter attack and relentless US drone strikes aimed at militants.

The three-day talks will culminate Friday in talks between Qureshi and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
