Pakistan chief-de-mission for Commonwealth Games Doctor Mohammad Ali Shah will not attend the closing ceremony of the event.

Pakistan tour has been under the shadow of controversies from the opening of Commonwealth Games. Dr. Shah came under fire when he carried the national flag in the place of nominated flag bearer,  weight-lifting star Shujauddin Malik  .

Later, he apologized to weight lifting team.

After this incident, about 24,000 Indian rupees were stolen from Dr. Shah's room in the village.

Now, he has announced that he is not going to attend closing ceremony of Commonwealth Games due to personal reasons.
