Rice adds Moscow stop to Asia tour on NKorea crisis
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will visit Russia later this week as part of a foreign tour focussed on enacting tough UN sanctions against North Korea over its announced nuclear test, a State Department official said.
Rice will travel to Moscow following visits to Japan, South Korea and China in the wake of a UN Security Council vote this weekend imposing wide-ranging punitive sanctions against North Korea, the official said.
Details of Rice's Russia visit would be released later in the day, the official said on condition of anonymity.
